Community Halls

The Halls section is made up of 66 employees which are aligned in the following manner:

  • 22 Permanent Staff
  • 21 Job Creation Staff in Rural areas
  • 13 Job Creation Staff in Town
  • 10 Relief Caretakers

These staff members are reliable for the safe keeping and cleaning of the halls. In total, the section has 32 halls spread throughout the Emnambithi/Ladysmith jurisdiction.

The halls can be booked by any community member for any "Legal" gathering eg:

  • Weddings
  • Religious Gatherings
  • Sporting events
  • Meetings
  • Musical events
  • Conferences
  • Arts and Culture
  • Fundraising drives
  • Matric farewells
  • Shows
  • Exhibitions etc...

The halls are available for booking via the booking office during office hours.
